Roth Equities, LLC was founded in 1999 by Rick Roth, a seasoned real estate professional with over 30 years of successful experience in investment real estate.

Rick has advised a wide range of clients, including high net worth individuals and family offices, privately held firms, and publicly traded companies, helping them navigate the complexities of acquiring, analyzing, financing, managing, and raising capital for investment real estate properties.

The firm’s long-standing relationships with investors, lenders, and other key players in the real estate industry provide clients and partners with valuable insights and access to opportunities for all to find positive solutions and achieve their goals.

Leadership

Rick Roth, Founder of Roth Equities, LLC, brings more than 30 years of experience in investment real estate. Over the course of his career, he has facilitated debt and equity placements for more than one hundred properties and has been involved in several billion dollars of investment real estate.

In addition to his work in the industry, Rick is committed to education and mentorship. He currently teaches Real Estate Investment and Portfolio Management in the MBA program at the University of Connecticut and has previously taught Real Estate Finance in the Master of Science in Real Estate program at New York University. In 2025 he was recognized for his 15 years of excellent teaching at UConn and awarded the Adjunct Professor of the Year at the University of Connecticut Business School’s Real Estate Center annual banquet.

Rick earned his Master of Science in Real Estate Investment from New York University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate and Urban Economic Studies from the University of Connecticut. Prior to founding Roth Equities in 1999, he held roles at Merrill Lynch in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group and at Prudential Insurance Company in Institutional Real Estate Investments.

With more than two decades of experience forming capital relationships and navigating complex transactions, Rick brings a well-rounded perspective to each engagement. He holds a real estate broker license in both Connecticut and New York and has served in leadership roles on multiple industry boards.
